Grade 10 meets Andy Warhol
How lucky were we that the Pera Müzesi opened their Andy Warhol exhibition just as Grade 10 was beginning their Pop Art unit? This was a perfect opportunity for a field trip to see the work of an icon, and to start brainstorming the upcoming Pop! projects.
We also dropped into SALT gallery, where we were mesmerised by Christian Marclay’s The Clock, and went on a street art tour of the back alleys of Beyoğlu. Upon discovering the many pandas of Turkish street artist Leo Lunatic, we pondered, where is the line between art and ad? Does it even matter?
