Beneath the C Building
For quite some time now (well over a month), Maude and Nya have been secretly working on creating a massive mural in the basement of C Building, right outside the Tech Office. Tired of looking at a boring white wall all day, Mr. Childs and our Tech Experts approached me with a proposal for a mural. Maude jumped at the chance once she had heard about the opportunity, and drew up a design that features a whale skeleton and jellyfish floating in a deep blue ocean.
Eventually an LED strip will run the length of the whale’s spine to give it some extra drama. So far the mural has been a hit with elementary students, who pass the piece on their way to Music each day!
