Portraits and Pop
Our Grade 8 Artists deserve a big congratulations for all the hard work and enthusiasm that they put into their final self-portraits. For many of them, this was the largest drawing they had ever drawn, and certainly one of the most challenging— the end results were astonishingly lifelike!
Grade 10 focused on their Pop Art pieces, which tackled a range of subjects such as:
- water consumption in Morocco
- the relationship between social media and protest/revolution
- the cult of celebrity
- corruption in FIFA
- the ‘ideal’ female form
