Reflecting
After watching the PBS Nova documentary Mystery of a Masterpiece, Grade 8 reflected on what they knew of Leonardo Da Vinci and his skills as an artist, and debated whether or not La Bella Principessa was truly a lost work of the Renaissance master. They then pondered the question of how value and worth are assigned to a work of art. Why is one work of art worth millions of dollars, and another $25? Any thoughts?
